The Highlands began in the spring of 1988 with our first development, Buffalo Highlands I.

Back then, Charleston Boulevard was a two lane county road and Buffalo Drive was a dirt road.

Our calling card was “Country Living in the City”. Our first managers, a senior couple from Oklahoma, used their unit as the model. They sent prospective tenants over to their place to see how beautiful the unit looked when furnished. We were 100% leased before we opened. The single story garden apartment concept, each with its own attached garage, was a big hit.

Since then, each phase of the Buffalo, Rainbow or Spring Valley Highlands was fully leased before opening for business. Today, with over 1,600 units citywide, the Highlands are still the only single story units with attached garages in Las Vegas.

These lushly landscaped gated communities are professionally managed daily with on-site maintenance and administrative staff who take pride in maintaining the Highlands as Las Vegas’ premier rental communities. Convenient to transportation, close to shopping, no neighbors above or below you, the Highlands today is still a little bit of country living in the city.

Bob H., Rainbow Highlands resident

“As a delighted 10 year Rainbow Apartments resident, mine is a humble yet enthusiastic recommendation offered to the shrewd and value conscious Las Vegas apartment home seeker:

Within our ground level gated Rainbow Apartments Community my unit is characterized by abundant bedroom, dining, dual bathroom, living room spaces, plus multiple kitchen amenities, with an attached two car garage adjacent to an ample fenced Spacious patio area, allowing for frequent hospitality amongst the variety of friendly neighbors and guests.
The notable and extraordinary quality which distinguishes Rainbow Apartments from other routine apartment environments is a welcoming, cheerful, cordial, receptive, and responsive Management and Leasing Office Team…

Assisted by able and competent Maintenance Personnel, these three individuals nurture sound professional tenant relationships, preserve, and restore where necessary, those parts of a community architectural and floral infrastructure which would otherwise have fallen victim to neglect, or to damages from the harsh Nevada heat and turbulent winds. The Rainbow Apartments Community and its ManagementTeam provide win—win options to the Las Vegas apartment home seeker.”
